![]() ![]() As a teenager and into early adulthood, Tad was a gifted Rock and Roll drummer. Tad had many passions and hobbies throughout his life. Over his career, Tad held several Finance and Management positions in the New England area and served as General Manager of the Huhtala Oil Company in East Templeton where he was widely respected as a gentle and caring leader. Here in Worcester, Tad was known as a dedicated husband and father who was always ready to lend a hand to a neighbor in need. When Tad and Madeline made the decision to start a family, they chose to relocate back to Tads home neighborhood in the Tatnuck section of Worcester. Tad and Madeliene were married in San Juan, Puerto Rico and their marriage in 1988 was truly a highpoint in Tads life. While at Bioran, Tad met and soon married his wife Madeliene Del Toro. As an adult, Tad often spoke of his fond childhood memories spending summers in the small seaside town of Sandwich.Īfter graduating from Bentley University, Tad settled in Somerville, MA and began working in the Finance department of the Bioran Medical Laboratory. He spent many years working as a farm hand at Crow Farm, picking peas and beans as a young boy, then driving tractors and working with equipment as a teenager. As a child, Tad spent his summers in Sandwich, MA at the familys summer home. Tad attended Bentley University in Waltham, MA and graduated with degrees in Finance and Management in 1982. He attended Worcester public schools and graduated from Doherty High School, where he excelled at Track and Field, in 1978. Tad was born and raised in the Tatnuck section of Worcester, son of the late Edward Cournoyer and his wife Patricia. He also leaves his mother, Patricia Cournoyer of Sandwich, MA his sister, Jane Cournoyer-Ellis, her husband Patrick Ellis and their children, Benjamin, Polly and India of Sandwich, MA and his sister Sara Fayard, her husband Leo Fayard and their children, Asa and Sam of East Brookfield, MA. He leaves his loving wife of 24 years, Madeliene Del ToroCournoyer and his children Alexander and Jacqueline who all live at the family home. Worcester - Edward Tad Cournoyer passed away on Saturday, April 14, at his home. ![]()
